New Clinical Evidence on SAC® Calcium Unveiled at ASBMR 2025

Earlier this month, our research team from Marah Natural, together with our partners at Calcium & Bone Health Institute (CBHI), Pronuvia, and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), participated in the Annual Meeting of the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR) in Seattle, September 5–8, 2025.

 

ASBMR is the world’s premier scientific meeting on bone, mineral, and musculoskeletal health. Each year, it brings together leading researchers, clinicians, and industry experts to share breakthroughs in osteoporosis, bone biology, and related conditions.

 

At ASBMR, we shared one of our latest studies: A Potent Calcium Dietary Consumption Improves Bone Mineral Density in Asian Older Adults.

Key findings in the study: After 8 months of daily SAC® administration, participants across all age groups and both genders showed significant improvements in bone mineral density (BMD) and T-scores. Notably:

  • 65% of participants with osteopenia improved into the normal range.
  • 64% of participants with osteoporosis improved into the osteopenia range, with 12% fully returning to normal bone health.

Results suggest SAC® can be a strong candidate for both prevention and treatment of osteoporosis.
