How to Read This Library

Each source carries a label for the kind of evidence it is. They answer different questions, so they are listed separately.

Human · Peer-reviewed

Results in people, published in a peer-reviewed journal.

Human · Internal data

Our own de-identified records, summarized here. Raw data on request.

Preclinical

Animal and cell studies that test how SAC® acts on bone.

Mechanism · Reference

Chemistry and the literature behind calcium signaling.

Disclosure Some of the research listed here involves the Calcium & Bone Health Institute (CBHI), an organization associated with Marah Natural. Please read these sources with that in mind.

01

Human Clinical Research

What happened to bone density in adults taking SAC®.

Human · Peer-reviewed Open access 2025

A Potent Calcium Dietary Consumption Improves Bone Mineral Density in Asian Older Adults

Yoon D, Lee A, … Lee PK, Park JY · J Family Med Prim Care Open Acc 9: 290

In plain language: 82 adults took SAC® for about eight months. Bone density at the wrist rose in every group (normal, low and very low bone density at the start), for men and women of all ages.

Study design: retrospective, single-arm, quantitative ultrasound at the distal radius. No comparison group.

Human · Internal data For healthcare professionals

Bone Density Changes in Adults Taking SAC Calcium: Clinical Data Summary

Marah Natural · October 2026 · 10 pages, plus a 66-page de-identified data appendix

In plain language: We re-analyzed our own clinic records from 2014 to 2018, the same clinic setting as the published study. Of 2,904 people screened, 57 SAC® users had a repeat scan. Every one of them had a higher T-score at follow-up, about four to five months later.

Study design: uncontrolled, retrospective, peripheral ultrasound. Shared to inform the design of a controlled study.

02

Preclinical Research

How SAC® acts on bone cells and bone structure.

Preclinical · Peer-reviewed 2026

Sigma Anti-bonding Calcium Attenuates Ovariectomy-Induced Bone Loss by Preserving Trabecular Microarchitecture and Suppressing Osteoclastogenesis

Oh Y, Yoo BC, … Cho JY · Calcified Tissue International (2026) 117: 141 · Sungkyunkwan University

In plain language: In a model of bone loss after menopause, SAC® helped preserve bone density and the inner structure of bone over 13 weeks. In cell tests it slowed the formation of osteoclasts, the cells that break bone down.

03

Mechanism & Reference

The chemistry of SAC® and the science of calcium signaling.

Early-Stage Research

A contract-lab study report and an unpublished manuscript. Neither is peer-reviewed yet, and both are animal data.

Preclinical · Study report

SAC-SG in a Preclinical Colorectal Cancer Model

Charles River Discovery Services · Colo205-e396 · January 2025 · Not peer-reviewed

In mice carrying human colorectal tumor cells, SAC-SG (150 mg/kg, twice daily by mouth for 21 days) was followed by a smaller median tumor volume than vehicle: 498 vs. 726 mm³, a 31.4% tumor growth inhibition. Treated animals lost more weight early on before partly recovering. Animal data only, with no statistical analysis shown in the report.

SAC®, Bone Formation and the Bone Marrow Environment in Mice

Mehdi SH, Lee D, Lee A, et al. · For review only

A mouse study of whether SAC® influences bone formation, and how that may affect the bone marrow environment in which myeloma cells grow. Findings are preliminary and may change before publication. They do not show prevention or treatment of any disease in people.
